You may receive an “Error 2001: Background Component Unavailable” message when running iLok License Manager or protected software.
The latest beta versions of macOS 15.4 interfere with the normal operation of iLok License Manager and protected software.
Apple is aware of the behavior.
Our hope is that a solution will be in place by the official final release of macOS 15.4.
We support all fully released versions of macOS.
If iLok License Manager and running your protected software is important, please revert to a non-beta version of MacOS.
